The LHC is the world's largest particle accelerator.
Its 27 km ring is buried 100 metres below the French and Geneva countryside.
No reservation is necessary.
Platforms are freely accessible to the public all year round.

Practical info
Caution: works near the ATLAS and Acceleration platforms. ALICE platform is not accessible due to construction works; the code of the LHC Mission is "5493". Neutrino platform floor is damaged.
In case of frost or rain, the platforms' floor can be slippery. Please contact us to report any problem on the LHC Mission platforms.
